Sales at net price to private persons and commercial operators outside the EU:
It is possible to sell vehicles at net price to private persons and business customers based outside the EU (as long as VAT can be stated separately - which is the case of 95% of vehicles at aaf). You will receive a pre-prepared export declaration from aaf. VAT is provided to aaf as a deposit.
As soon as you leave the EU with the vehicle, you will receive a customs stamp on the export declaration. Send the original of this document to aaf (together with your bank details) or bring it to the office in person. You will then receive the VAT deposit back immediately.
