Guarantee and warranty

We distinguish between guarantee and warranty.

Guarantee

Every private customer is legally entitled to a free 12-month guarantee. However, this guarantee (liability for material defects) applies only to faults which existed at the point of transfer and which were not excluded from liability.

Our vehicles have a good standard of maintenance and care. Each car undergoes a technical inspection prior to delivery and can be supplied with a TÜV report on request. Nevertheless, things can go wrong in any car sometimes. You can insure yourself against such inconveniences with the useful RSM used car guarantee (see guarantee).


Guarantee

A component part of the purchasing contract is usually the RSM-used car guarantee. The popular package
(12 months' protection incl. luxury electronics for € 459) is valid with effect from the day the vehicle is supplied and relates to the most important components and many extras.

What to do in the case of a warranty claim

In the case of a warranty claim, after registering the claim and receiving approval for repairs from RSM Atlantik insurance company, the purchaser can drive to the workshop from anywhere in Europe. Repairs will be carried out there so you can stay on the move.
